This is a piece that I did senior year. It is a six foot stand up. I made this piece centered around my personal experiences with discrimination. The spaces in between the torn dress there are pieces of thread with quotes of insults and bashes that I have had to deal with for dressing the way I do.
I used pastels and black paint, and cut around the edges of the board; then glued foam board to the back to make my piece stand up. |
